Reception food

We have decided on the reception foods.  Ryan and I are simple people when it comes to food so we wanted that to really play into our reception.  So we've decided sandwich, cereal, and sweets bars.  It the 3 things we love the most. 

The sandwich bar- We're thinking lunch meats, pb&j, and a setting up a little sandwich maker for grilled cheese sandwiches (of course!!!).  Of course with lots of different bread choices. 

Cereal bar- I know cereal is kinda strange. But anyone who knows Ryan and I, know that cereal is a HUGE staple of our life.  I found something while we shopping today that would be perfect for dispensing the milk and would be so cute.  http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=16892157 This isn't the exact one but you get the idea. I was thinking it might be fun to give the little cereal bowls with built in straws (maybe buy in bulk) or some cute spoons as favors. 

Sweets bar- We have a HUGE soft spot for sweets so naturally we MUST have a Sweets bar. Oh and Oreo's are a must have too!!!

So...

I've been a bad blogger lately and haven't posted anything. I've been pretty busy the last 2 weeks and looking at wedding stuff was the last thing on my mind. Since we haven't decided on the exact date, 20 or 21, it means we have one year to get this show on the road. 


So this weeks obsessions are:


1. Brooch bouquet- http://www.fancypantsweddings.com/how-to-design-a-brooch-bouquet/ I love the idea of a brooch bouquet.  It's something I can keep forever and even sit it around as decoration after we get married. I'm definitely going to attempt to make one so the hunt for unique brooches is on!!!!!


2.  Save the date cards- http://www.weddingpaperdivas.com/product/7596/signature_white_save_the_date_cards_romantic_math.html I really like unique things so of course I love these save the date cards. This is probably one of my top choices for save the date cards.


3. Dress- I LOVE this dress. I think I'm a little hesitate on this dress because of the color but that's the thing I love about it. This weeks obsession

So the week is almost out and I realized I needed to keep my word and post something every week. So here is this weeks obsessions


1. Shoes- I've really had it in my head that I would have an amazing pair of high heels but then reality set in and I realized that I NEVER get to wear heels so I'm kinda out of practice. I'm thinking "Do I really want to torment myself just so I know I have an amazing pair of shoes on?" Well I have decided I do not.
